Aquatic Mindfulness & Somatic Movement
This elective explores the use of warm water environments to support mindfulness, body awareness, and somatic movement practices. Students learn how gentle aquatic movement and breath awareness can help release tension, regulate the nervous system, and deepen mind–body connection.
The course introduces techniques that combine slow guided movement, floating support, and breath-focused awareness to promote relaxation, emotional balance, and embodied presence. Students will practice facilitating short aquatic mindfulness sessions and learn how these methods can complement other aquatic training modalities such as aquatic breathwork and aquatic bodywork.
