First Aid and Crisis Care

Basic emergency management course for injuries such as broken bones, bleeding, and burns, and medical emergencies such as diabetes, seizures, and heart attack. Guidelines for one-rescuer adult, child, and infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Other topics covered are choking, the Chain of Survival, normal heart and lung anatomy and function, how to recognize a heart attack, and stroke warning signs. This course typically will be taken at other approved certified educational organizations. Topics Covered:
