Basic emergency management course for injuries such as broken bones, bleeding, and burns, and medical emergencies such as diabetes, seizures, and heart attack. Guidelines for one-rescuer adult, child, and infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Other topics covered are choking, the Chain of Survival, normal heart and lung anatomy and function, how to recognize a heart attack, and stroke warning signs.
