Passion Domes

Passion Dome Structure

The structure of Passion Dome has been inspired by both R. Buckminster Fuller’s geodesic dome, and the native American’s sweat lodge. Dome is a structure with the highest ratio of enclosed area to external surface area.

In geodesic dome all structural members are equal contributors to the whole. The sweat lodge is a dome-like construction made from fresh cut branches (traditionally willow) and covered with hides and/or blankets.

Passion Dome is a hybrid of these two types of domes, and it inherits qualities from both. It’s an efficient, stroing, inexpensive, an environmentally conscious. It creates a dome-like energy – self contained, round, full, inclusive. It stimulates and supports harmonious passion.
